    Hello,

what is the exact sequence of a first-time pass?

    Is it:

    1) determine the path of the pass to the desired space within ruler limits
    2) the attacker moves one player 1 space (but not the one making the pass)
    3) the defender moves one player 1 space
    4) if the defender moves into the path of the pass, roll 5 or 6 to intercept
    5) if the defender comes within 1 hex of the ball or the path of the ball, roll a 6 to intercept

    Regards

    Marcos

I believe point 4 is wrong: when defender player is on the line of a pass after 1 hex move, then it’s automatically an interception. Rest is alright for me.

That’s the rule for a standard pass. But in the rulebook in the advanced rules chapter pag.29 under first-time pass it says:

“If the defender moves into the path of the ball, roll a 5 or 6 to intercept.”

So it is important to know the exact sequence of events in a first-time pass

Yes, you’re right – just checked that.
For me, if point 4 is right, all steps you listed’re valid and I’d play like they say.
